NEWS FLASH - First January Transfer Window Signing!

Happy New Year.

Saracens have dipped into the coffers and made the first signing of the January transfer window, capturing attacking midfielder Kris Day.

Scott Bennison was happy with the coup, "Dayo is known for his tireless effort on the pitch and is capable of playing at a high standard. He has just recovered from major surgery and we are happy to welcome him to the club".

Bennison also reported that skipper Matt Davis' injury was not healing as quickly as first thought, "Matty damaged his knee ligaments before the Christmas break. Unfortunately it looks like he wont be returning to the pitch until mid-February, we are going to fly him off to see one of those 'placenta' doctors".

It is unknown if Day's arrival will be the only major signing in the January window, but any news of transfers will be posted here first.
